Here we are for a new chapter of “The critter wonderlands”, where the small creatures crowd the reefs and the sandy bottoms. This time we talk about Dauin, a place on the south oriental coast of Negros Island in the Phillipines Visayas. Dauin offers several dive sites, some of them with coral reefs or coral patches and others in pure muck dive style. The dive sites are often located in marine sanctuaries, where fishing and sailing are not permitted.
Maybe due to the period of my stay, I did not meet so many nudies. Sea slugs apart, a great benthic biodiversity just interrupted with the excursions to Apo island, Sumilon island or at the whale shark show in Oslob.
